Special Offers for Olympic Guests in Moscow

In the middle of December Moskomtourism (Moscow Tourism Committee), in conjunction with the capital’s sights and travel companies, launched project ‘Moscow Tourism for Olympians’, as TRN magazine learned in Moskomtourism.

Participants and visitors of the 2014 Winter Olympics who stop in Moscow on their way to Sochi are entitled to special offers and discounts. For instance, City Sightseeing Moscow company has introduced special prices for sightseeing bus tours, to access which you need to show an Olympics participant’s or a volunteer’s identification card, tickets to the games, or a fan’s passport.

The Capital Shipping Company (the second largest double-decker sightseeing tour operator in Moscow) is also ready to offer a 30% discount on excursions.

The guests of the Olympics will also be afforded discounts on visiting Ostankino Tower (20% discount), Moscow River cruises on the ice-breaker yachts of Flotilla ‘Radisson Royal’ (the discount is given to those who show tickets or accreditation cards for the 2014 Winter Olympics or Paralympics upon buying tickets on the following piers – ‘Ukraina’ Hotel, Gorky Park or ‘Europe’ Trade Center).

The service has special offers from ten of the capital’s three- to five-star hotels, five transfer options and some of the more popular excursion programs of the capital that last for up to three hours: a city sightseeing tour, tours of the Moscow Metro and Arbat pedestrian street, and the Kremlin, the Novodevichy Convent and the Tretyakov Gallery excursions.
